Michael Fiske Black Taxi have witnessed the musical tides of New York City change since their inception in 2007. After quietly waiting in the wings, the Brooklyn-based band released their album, 'Things of That Nature,' a wonderful debut of glossy pop and honest lyricism. It's been a while since the band has released new material, but that's all about to change. Sophomore release 'We Don't Know Any Better' showcases a more mature Black Taxi, focused on pop precision.
'Hand,' the band's newest single, features masterful instrumentation and inspiring guitar arpeggios. Lead singer Ezra Huleatt dons streaks of face paint in the song's accompanying video, while being filmed from countless oblique angels.
