How much would you pay for one large elephant head? Well, even if you're remotely like Jack White and you "love the majesty of taxidermy," you'll probably drive a hard bargain. After all, not everybody has enough space or cash (or spacecash?) to accommodate a gigantic elephant head.

The whole scenario went down Monday night on an episode of the History Channel's 'American Pickers.' White invited show hosts Mike Wolf and Frank Fritz down to Third Man Records in Nashville (which we imagine looks something like a cross between an episode of hoarders and a rock 'n' roll reliquary) for a little old-fashioned bartering.

Spotify: Free Users Will Be Limited to 10-Hour Monthly Cap

Music streaming services are all the rage lately, with European crossover Spotify leading the pack. Now, the Verge reports that the beloved free program may soon cost you a few bucks a month.

As detailed in Spotify's original terms of service, early U.S. sign-ups gave users six months of unlimited free streaming from its launch on July 14, 2011. As of this January, the Swedish company has ended the honeymoon phase and will soon implement a 10-hour monthly cap on all free accounts.

According to Billboard (via Social Times), Spotify's earnings jumped from just under $18 million in 2009 to $99 million in 2010. Despite the tremendous increase, Spotify still lost $41.5 million due to the extreme costs of licensing thousands of songs.

Actor/singer Jake Epstein is no stranger to angst. As Melchior in the touring cast of the hit musical 'Spring Awakening,' he faced oppression at school, the suicide of a good friend and a tragic romance.

Now, as one of the stars of the touring production of 'American Idiot,' the Broadway musical inspired by the Green Day album -- currently in the middle of its run at the Toronto Centre For The Arts before criss-crossing the U.S. -- he suffers from a whole lot of crippling, agonizing nothing. Playing Will, a young man forced to stay home while his two friends leave to conquer their post-9/11 existential crises in the big city, Epstein remains glued to a couch for the whole show.

Epstein spoke to Spinner about the challenges he faces in 'American Idiot,' his love of Green Day, the idea of collaborating with his former 'Degrassi' costar Drake and those 'Glee' rumours.

After traveling to Las Vegas to marry her boyfriend, then quickly separating only to reunite again, Sinead O'Connor took to her Twitter account on Wednesday desperately asking for psychiatric help and medication.

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Anthony Kiedis Foot Surgery Postpones US Tour

Their new album is called 'I'm With You' but U.S. fans of Red Hot Chili Peppers will have to be without the group for a little while as singer Anthony Kiedis' foot injury has forced the band to postpone their U.S. tour.

According to a press release Jan. 11, Kiedis "recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot and is expected to make a full recovery." There's no word as to how or when Kiedis was injured.

Drummer Chad Smith added a bit more info via Twitter on Kiedis.

Bon Iver to Play 'Saturday Night Live'

2012 is shaping up to be one hell of a year for Bon Iver. After earning high spots on a more than a few year-end lists and locking down four top Grammy nominations (Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Alternative Album), the Wisconsin folksters announced they will make their 'Saturday Night Live' debut on Feb. 4. The announcement was made by 700 young angels, in a thin falsetto.

This week, the Justin Vernon-led outfit also announced they will play Coachella's main stage in April. On top of that, Vernon is launching a record label, Chigliak Records, which will focus on putting out rare albums that were never or only locally released. So yeah, it seems that the guy has found ways to spend his time other than living in a cabin in the woods for months at a time.
